Product Description:

INCOLOY Alloy 020 (UNS N08020) provides excellent corrosion resistance in chemical environments containing sulfuric acid and useful resistance to environments containing chloride, nitric acid and phosphoric acid. Other uses include the production of gasoline, solvents, explosives, inorganic and organic chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food and synthetic materials. Alloy 020 has essentially the same uses as INCOLOY Alloy 825 in applications requiring resistance to water corrosion.

Alloy 20 (N08020) nickel-based alloy has good hot and cold working properties. It has good resistance to oxidizing and moderate reducing corrosion, has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and good local corrosion resistance, and has satisfactory corrosion resistance in many chemical process media.

Application areas:

INCOLOY Alloy 020 is easy to manufacture to produce mixing tanks, heat exchangers, process piping, pickling equipment, pumps, valves, fasteners and fittings.

Standard product forms include tubes, tubes, plates, strips, plates, round bars, flat bars, forging blanks, hexagonal steel, and wire rods.
