GH5188
GH5188 alloy is a solid solution strengthened cobalt-based high-temperature alloy with carbide as the main strengthening phase. Compared with nickel-based superalloys, this alloy has better creep resistance, hot corrosion resistance, thermal fatigue resistance and high temperature strength. In the 1980s, GH5188 alloy was used in vortex plates, flame directors and other components of turboshaft eight-jet aero engines; currently, some aerospace engines use GH5188 alloy plates to prepare high-temperature components such as combustion chamber walls, outer walls, and sealing sheets. GH5188 alloy is a deformed cobalt-based high-temperature alloy with a simple microstructure

Product Description:
GH5188 alloy is a deformed cobalt-based high-temperature alloy with a simple microstructure. Since carbides are relatively stable and cannot be completely dissolved into the matrix during solid solution, and the strengthening phase precipitated by aging is likely to be further over-aged during use, it is not suitable to undergo aging treatment.
Cold-rolled strip is one of the commonly used products of GH5188 alloy. The alloy raw materials are smelted and cast into ingots, and then undergo homogenization treatment, billet forging, hot rolling, multi-pass cold rolling and intermediate annealing, and are finally delivered in solid solution state. .

characteristic:
GH5188 alloy has good comprehensive properties and good high temperature oxidation resistance. The alloy has good cold and hot processing plasticity and welding and other process properties.
In the manufacturing process of alloy sheet processing parts, any process (such as heat treatment, welding, etc.) should prevent carburization and copper contamination to avoid damaging the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the alloy. The corrosion resistance of alloy plates is better than that of GH3536 alloy
Application fields: GH5188 alloy has been used to make high-temperature components such as flame tubes and guide blades in aeroengine combustion chambers, and is in good batch production and use. Similar alloys are also widely used in high-temperature components of gas turbines and missiles abroad, such as combustion chambers, tail nozzles, and heat ex-changers in the nuclear energy industry.
